urgh. i know i'm reading 2 books now and 3 others in the queue, to be read.
but i really want that book...!

Ok, here's what happened.
I went into the bookstore yesterday, looked through the author 'B' shelves, and was quite surprise to find that there wasn't one single book by this author in this particular bookstore.
a good bookstore should have, at least, one of this man's work.
so i went to the counter for help.
the employee asked me to write down the title and author on paper.
"Ordinary Thunderstorms by William Boyd, is it?"
"Yes."
"I'm sorry we do not have it at the moment. But it says here on the system that we've placed order for this book on 3rd September. Do you want us to inform you when the books arrive?"
"Yes, thank you."

So i thought i'll go pick up dan brown's new book too but because it's new, all that are available are the hardcover ones. it's $48.
$48 for a book rated sophomoric and disappointing on amazon. $48 for a book described as an unedited "piece of rubbish" by bbc.
Not worth. Definitely not worth.

So I left the mall fairly disappointed.
I should seriously start looking for a good job so i could apply for a credit card
or pray that amazon accepts payment by paypal soon.
