Infinite Thanks.
Case 1
Minor abrasion on arm and knee.
"ahh~~hh~hhhh~ahhh~~"
"Can you stop crying so loudly!?"
Case 2
Big bump on forehead. And I mean really big.
"...." (Tears rolling down cheeks. Silently. Short little fingers held 2 big ice packs wrapped with tissue paper against forehead. Standing beside him is another boy, I assumed, his friend, both P1.)
"How did you get this?"
"I ran and bumped into somebodyyyy..."
"Then what about that person?"
"..."
"So... i guess he's okay?"
Boy nods.
(Trying terribly hard to hold my laughter, i took the ice packs from him and changed the position. Sheds of tissue paper fell and dangled from the ice packs, giving the boy a pirate look. I patted his head and smiled to his friend beside him.)
"The bump has gone down!" (His friend reported helpfully.)
"Oh, really?"
"Yea... Anyway, I used to have bumps all over my head too!" (his hands ran thru his hair and then shot out to touch every part of his head to make it convincing.)
"Haha! So which class are you from?"
"1B,"
"Both of you?"
"No, he's from 1B," (poking air in an in/out motion with his finger at the injured boy.)
"...and you?"
"3H,"
"You? 3H?!"
"Hee.. ya."
"... You're his brother?"
"Yea." (and he nodded confidently. So cute. And did he say he's got bumps all over his head?)
"Do you want to go home?"
"Noooo..."
"Are you sure?"
"yeeees..."
"Okay brother pls call your mom and tell her he doesn't want to go home. The bump is pretty BIG and it won't go down completely anyway. Pls tell your mom that too."
10mins later, 3H carried 1B's bag down to the office.
"Ohh. So you are going home huh?"
"Yea..."
"... ookay."
Height & Weight Case Study 1
Outside 1B’s classroom. Class getting ready for PE lesson.
"Can I see Amanda and Samuel?"
"Ohh! Sure! Pls help yourself! I don’t know their names!"
-.- "... Okay. By the way, are they going to bring their bags for PE?"
"I don’t know! This is my first time teaching! Anyway, where do they usually have PE?"
-.- "... You can have your lessons at the quadrangle, the basketball court, or behind the netball court."
"Oh! Thank you!"
"I’ll bring them to you later."
"Sure!"
"Teacher… Measure height and weight ah?"
"Yaaa."
"Just now we…. blah blah… " (too noisy can’t really catch…)
"Okay, we are going upstairs."
"Upstairs ah? Teacher we going upstairs ah?"
"Yaaa."
"Measure our height and weight upstairs?"
"Yaaa. Aren’t your bags heavy?"
"No."
"Okay."
After everything…
"Let’s get you back to your PE class.."
"Wait! We have to put our bags in class first!!"
WHAT!!! -.-
And there we go… back to the same spot where I picked them… where they could have put down their bags long ago. -.-

jump!!
to push the kids and reach our target,
the department has implemented intensive training on the overweight pupils -
to skip 800 times during recess everyday.
if somebody made me,
i will most definitely skip that much everyday as well.
but the cruel truth is,
you've got to learn what is SELF-DISCIPLINE.
and seriously, i haven't learnt all of it. HA!

Track your tracks?
Hi everybody, over the time i've come to treasure my sony ericsson phone's features. Especially after my phone starts having problems finding its way around the menu. Honestly, i'm having a terrible time with it. But that aside for now. I'm here to introduce a feature on my phone which I am starting to take for granted. It's the track ID feature and it is simply amazing! It sends you information on music you hear over the radio, on tv, and night clubs. Hah! Sounds very useful to you, doesn't it? Now you don't have to waste 30cents sending smses to Mediacorp stations when you hear something you like on the FM.
Just today, I found out how much I love working on powerpoint slides. Seriously, I haven't done one since I graduated, and today! my boss told me how stressed up she was at having to do a presentation on my job scope (which was so wide that she doesn't even know where to start from, and neither do I) to be presented to the entire staff. And I... offered to do the ppt for her. Heehee! You can say I'm asking for it but I'm glad to do it since it's only once in a while.
Till then!

I'm sick and am officially down and out on Friday.
yea, i've left work alone and well... i've learnt i can't really care when I'm this sick.
But i'm out of bed now and here to update a little bit again.
went for G's belated belated birthday meet-up this week.
without any cake or present. heee!
but love the food ha!
went for this kindaichi kosuke's movie (which was featured as an exclusive showcase).
and it turned out to be EXCLUSIVE INDEED... hah!
sorry girls, i know you guys regretted.
cos... i regretted too heh!
thought about it and then i realised...
it's just the wrong use of casts!
but it triggers memories.
to the time where i literally spent my life watching Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo and nothing else (Secondary school doesn't seem that stress at my time).
i remembered i was scared stiffed the first time i saw the anime on tv.
yea.. and it was just the anime, duh! (even jigoko shoujo doesn't scare me that much)
well... that story just happened to be one of the scariest among the rest la,
if you have watched it, you will know - The seven murder mysteries of Fudo High (学园七不可思议杀人事件)

Which 7?
The legend of the evil thirteen steps, the abandoned biology lab, the boy and his severed hand, the ginko tree, goddess of wisdom, blood-stained well, and the bloody reflection.
The truth is, these rumours of the 7 haunted places were all made up to cover a heart breaking tragedy of a student who was killed and her body hid in the school.
So scary can! But it was really sad in the end.
then came the live action show,
my brother and i, as expected, watched every single episode, hah!
and the theme songs bring back memories. heee.
this is the 1st opening of the anime. the first time i heard it, i thought i'd never hear a Japanese song that good. but maybe it just suits the show? ha! i still like anyway!
One thing i like about this series is that (there is no real ghost in there), very clever murder and cover-up methods were used, and... the murderers always have very good reasons to kill. So heart-breaking that some can make you cry.
My favourite is the one which left me the deepest impression of all - The Plot of Russian Dolls (露西亚人偶杀人事件). It tells the story about a famous writer who died and left a huge amount of inheritance to a group of musicians. But before that, they have to solve the puzzle he gave. The first one who solves it, gets inherited with his assets. This particular group of musicians resembles the 5 Russian dolls in the house, holding violins of the same ratio to the dolls, from the largest of all, the Cello, to the smallest violin. Murder began as soon as the game starts and everyone, including Kindaichi and a magician (who declared himself as the magician from hell), was locked up in the mansion without any means of communication, to solve this particular puzzle. Killing begans in accordance to the height of the instruments; Biggest first. How? With the heirs literally losing their heads in closed rooms locked from the inside. Each time an heir dies, the Russian doll which resembles him or her was placed back to the shelf. Kindaichi has to catch the murderer, who was so-called the Conductor, and solve the puzzle before the Conductor gets to the remaining heirs.

I read the manga, but managed to find the series on Tudou. Haha. It's here and if you're curious, you can watch a part of it if you like.

Keep swimming swimming swimming...
who wants to swim with me?
okayokay... just asking. nobody will anyway.
but it's always been a luxury to me to swim and forget about unhappy things that are happening all the time.
hah!
