I was browsing through the internet tonight, and happened to come across this website full of macabre children illustrations. The thing that kinda hooked me onto this site was one of the galleries named "Phobia's foibles and Fiends". It was indeed interesting! And i spent my whole night researching on the terms for some unusual phobias which we never knew can be considered as phobias.


A phobia is an irrational, intense, persistent fear of certain situations, activities, things, or persons. The main symptom of having this disorder is the excessive, undesirable desire to avoid the feared subject. When the fear is beyond one's control, or if the fear is interfering with daily life, then a diagnosis under one of the anxiety disorders can be made. (Wiki)
